I agree with one of the requests that a 'simple' key sequence to dump current patch settings would be ideal that way you wouldn't have to travel around with the full editor, just a small handful of SysEx patches for the 5 or 10 that you like. So if you setup a window to type and then capture/record with something like SysEx Librarian from Snoize, you should be able to capture presets the old fashioned way. The latest version also has an interpretive mode that requests a SysEx dump of the current settings. Perhaps your code is either older or newer than mine.

I know that the LFO code was re-worked due to some syncing issues and some folks had problems where the LFO would actually stop after some time.

If memory serves, I have the first 2.0.0 version but I know a new version is in the works now if you check the Moog forum in Minitaur section you'll see a bunch of activity with a promise by the developer to make good on a number of requests.īut mine definitely reverts to panel settings for ALL of the controls on the Minitaur. There's a SysEx sequence that you can fire at your Minitaur and the VCO Wave lights will feedback the version by flashing. I was an early adopter (I think I put in one of the beta versions that Moog was having folks try last year). To be honest, I don't even know if I have the latest version of code. Now would be a good time to repeat that I do NOT work for Moog : ) I just happen to have a pile of gear and spend alot of time with it. There are a few versions of Minitaur code that have been released over the year+ that the product has been shipping so there may be some exceptions to under the hood features (which may or may not be restored to a given state upon power up). with no keyboard mod-wheel, you tailor Mod amount by tweaking knobs.

Mod wheel is (by default) set to max so that folks who are playing with CV can have the internal modulation actually do something with regard to VCO and VCF amount (the two pots in the LFO section) So for those playing with a keyboard, you need to push your modwheel up then back down to have this behave normally for folks playing through CV or iPad sequencer, etc. if Midi clock is running and Minitaur is set to obey it, then obviously it will jump to listen and sync. No, all panel settings are taken upon power-on two exceptions when it comes to LFO, however 1.
